2019 Meeting Schedule

Pursuant to Utah Code 52-4-202, Providence City hereby gives notice of its annual meeting schedule for each public body which holds regular meetings that are scheduled in advance over the course of a year. Unless otherwise published, all meetings will be held at the Providence City Office, 164 North Gateway Dr, Providence UT, and will begin at 6:00PM.

Garbage and Recycling

Please Do Not Place Branches on the Curb/Street Side

Providence City will not be picking up branches. Please do not place branches on the curb/street side. Placing items such as dead trees, tree stumps, or any other thing which obstructs the public street, gutter, park strip, or sidewalk is a violation of Providence City Code 7-1-3:B.
We expect the green waste dumpsters will be delivered to our public works facility, 350 East Center, Providence, on Monday, March 25. You can also take green waste to Logan City's facility, 200 N 1400 W, Logan.

Come Visit with the Easter Bunny

Providence City Youth Council and Miss Providence Royalty have invited the Easter Bunny to visit the Providence City Office Building, Saturday, April 13, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. There will be craft activities, treats, and prizes.

Business License Renewal

2019 business license renewals were due January 1.
Late fees applied February 1 and increased on March 1.
Home business: $25 license fee, $25 late fee, total due $50.
Commercial business: $50 license fee, $50 late fee, total due $100.
Please renew now to avoid additional fees.

Please help keep the waterways on or along your property clean and free from any debris that may impede the flow of the water. Please do not blow or rake lawn clippings, leaves, or other debris in to the gutters or ditches.

When going to Providence Canyon to shoot your guns for recreation or to hunt, please make sure you NEVER SHOOT toward the trail. There are signs noting this, but please be aware and use extra caution. Be safe and have fun!

Cougars will occasionally visit Providence City and the surrounding area. We don't want to cause alarm but want to give you information on what you can do.
